What we did & why it worked.

Aspire Heating & Cooling is an HVAC company. We have had the privilege of working with them as their exclusive digital marketing agency for the past 16 months. We’re excited to share that since the start of the relationship we’ve increased their page one-ranked search terms in their targeted city from only 1 to 480. They are now ranked #1 for 180 of the 480 terms that comprise the top search terms for the HVAC industry.

The Client.

Aspire is a local North Carolina business focused on providing quality HVAC equipment, repair and maintenance, installation and support to their client base.  They have an in-house team of sales, support, installation and fabrication professionals. Their tagline, “You’ll Feel the Difference,” encompasses their values of service, on-time appointments and installation, as well as their commitment to the environment.

The Challenge.

This client had worked with a national service industry marketing firm for two-and-a-half years. That agency delivered no ranking results and lackluster reporting. As many service businesses have experienced this scenario, Aspire was wary of engaging a new firm.  We provided an analysis showing what the previous firm had not done and we educated them on best practices. Next, we provided the client with an analysis of their local competition and provided real-world examples of our success with service businesses. By listening to their needs and learning about the company, we were able to build trust with a clear, comprehensive strategy. As a result, they had an understanding of our communication skills and reporting tools.

The strategy.

  • Establish the client in the selected target area as a trusted brand in the HVAC marketplace.
  • Build a strong organic lead source for new equipment installations and service.
  • Reduce cost per lead and sale by leveraging organic search to minimize reliance on PPC (pay-per-click).
  • Focus and establish multiple page one listings for core industry search terms. These include map pack, position zero for voice search, and organic, in order to maximize consumer touch-points.

The Solution.

  • Revamp existing website, including re-writing of content for a better user experience
  • SEO optimization of all content

Upon completion of the clean-up phase, they subscribed to our monthly local SEO package. That included a content strategy based on local competitor strengths and weaknesses in the targeted market.

The results.

Client has gone from no rankings in their selected market to over 480 high-volume search terms ranked on page one search results. 180 of those rankings are position #1. Client has seen a surge of quality, higher-end, qualified prospects. Moreover, they have dramatically increased sales from the organic leads as their rankings have moved higher. With dominance in the map pack and organic search results, the client is now obtaining position zero listings, which are also used in voice search results.

Our Story Continues...

Based on their success, Aspire engaged us to build a new website after 6 months, since our time-tested strategies worked. Upon completion, the client’s rankings continued to soar and conversions increased with the new layouts.

We have developed multiple web-based operation tools for clients to streamline the operations end of their business. Additionally, we re-worked the client’s branding. This included an updated logo, new truck-wrap designs, service videos and other branding assets integrated throughout their business. As the client's story continues, we have now worked with their team to craft a full brand strategy.
